Method
- Cut broccoli into flowerettes, steam or cook until just fork tender. Cook bacon and chop into pieces. Let both of these cool.
- Mix dressing ingredients together.
- In a large bowl, toss cooled broccoli, chopped bacon, grated cheddar cheese and dressing. Add in optional ingredients like sunflower seeds and dried cranberries, then toss to make sure all is coated.
- Cover with plastic wrap and keep in refrigerator to cool. Stir before serving.

**I sometimes double the dressing recipe if I have added quite a few extras**
