Dutch Oven One Pot Dinner is 3 kinds of beans, bacon and ground beef in a sweet and smokey, BBQ sauce that’ll make your taste buds dance!!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound bacon, cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsp granulated onion
  • 2 1lb 15 ounce cans of pork and beans
  • 1 15 ounce can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 15 ounce can lima beans, drained
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup browned sugar
  • 3 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 6 tbsp white vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef and drain off fat and put beef into Dutch Oven.
  2. Brown bacon and drain most of the fat, add to the ground beef in the Dutch Oven.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and stir well to incorporate.
  4. Place Dutch oven over a low heat with lid on and cook for 2 hours. Stir now and then to prevent sticking to the bottom. Serve with cornbread or a loaf of hearty bread. Enjoy!

Notes

As an alternative to the Dutch Oven, follow the same instructions, but add items to your crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
