Method
- Brown ground beef and drain off fat and put beef into Dutch Oven.
- Brown bacon and drain most of the fat, add to the ground beef in the Dutch Oven.
- Add all remaining ingredients and stir well to incorporate.
- Place Dutch oven over a low heat with lid on and cook for 2 hours. Stir now and then to prevent sticking to the bottom. Serve with cornbread or a loaf of hearty bread. Enjoy!
Notes
As an alternative to the Dutch Oven, follow the same instructions, but add items to your crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
