  • 12 large eggs
  • 8 tbsp melted, butter (extra to grease pan)
  • 16 ounces grated cheese or mixture of cheeses can use any of your favorite cheeses
  • 16 ounces full fat, cottage cheese
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped, chives for garnish


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish (I use butter).
  • In a medium sized bowl, crack and which all 12 eggs, making sure to break the yolks.
  • Add in melted butter, grated cheese, cottage cheese, baking powder, cornstarch, salt and pepper and mix together until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Pour the egg mixture into a greased baking dish and then place into a preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes. The edges should be bubbling and the top lightly golden when done.
  • Let the eggs sit for 5 minutes before slicing to eat. Garnish with chopped chives. Enjoy!
