Method
- In a medium saucepan, combine, milk, sugar and salt and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Stir in the rice and turn the heat down to low. You want to make sure the milk is just at a very gentle simmer.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook for about 40 minutes or until mixture has thickened to the consistency of yogurt.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Spoon into dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon if you like. Can be eaten warm or cold. Enjoy!
