Chocolate and peanut butter mixed together, is absolutely one of my favorite flavor combinations. So, when we are talking ice cream, cookies or in this case, clusters, it is a winner with me everytime. This recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Clusters is so easy to make. This is a no-bake treat, so this is a perfect, safe way, to get kids in the kitchen with you. During the holidays, memories are made and favorite holiday recipes are brought out. This will be the recipe that is requested over and over again!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Clusters are a perfect, kid friendly, no-bake, chocolate treat!

I have a few no-bake recipes that are in my Top 5, favorite cookies or candies. The thing I like about a no-bake goodie, is that it doesn’t heat up the house and I can easily make it when there is something else cooking in the oven. I can get the grandkids involved without fear of them burning themselves, so they can safely enjoy creating a treat everyone will “ooh” and “ahh” over later.

I have a recipe for a peanut clusters, which we like a lot, but I was wanting something a little crunchier, which is how this recipe was born. One of my favorite no-bake cookies is Butterscotch Cornflake Cookies. It is a recipe that I have been enjoying since I was a girl and my grandma made these for me. This is another recipe the kids will love to get involved in. Today though, I wanted something chocolatey and crunchy. So, I morphed together a few recipes I had and created Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Clusters. It was a hit from the first lick of the spoon!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Clusters are a no-bake, chocolate peanut butter delight, stuffed with pretzels, peanuts and crunchy cornflakes.

This is a recipe I can make on the run. If I have the ingredients on hand, I can have these made and cooling on parchment paper in 30 minutes. This means, I can even make these before work, for a last minute party or for unexpected guests. Most of the time though, I plan ahead so I know I have the ingredients for at least a double batch. Then, I whip them up and when cooled, store them in Tupperware and eat them as a treat throughout the week.

To make Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Clusters, you start by slowly melting chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter together, over a medium flame, in a heavy bottom pan. While that is melting, in a large bowl, I add pretzels, peanuts and corn flakes together. Then I pour the melted mixture over the dry ingredients in the bowl and toss to coat.

On a large piece of parchment paper, I drop large spoonfuls of the chocolatey mixture. These can be as big as you want. I typically fill a large tablespoon up and that makes a pretty consistent size, which is turns out to be a perfect serving. I then add the remaining butter and peanut butter to a small bowl and put that into the microwave to melt. Once melted, I mix that together well. Using a spoon, I drizzle the melted peanut butter over the top of the clusters for a bit of added decoration.
